Brad Pitt publicly endorsed Joe Biden in a new campaign ad
Several are the Hollywood stars who turned for Biden.
Brad Pitt joined the support of the Democratic candidate for the US Presidency, Joe Biden, by lending his voice for a new campaign ad released with a week to go before the November 3 election.
In the ad, first aired during the weekend's sports competitions, the actor claims that Biden is the perfect candidate to be "president of all Americans."
"America is a place for everyone. Those who elect this country, who fight for it. Some Republicans, some Democrats, and most in the middle looking for the same thing: someone who understands their hopes, dreams, and pains," Pitt says.
Among images of Biden meeting with different workers, the protagonist of "Once Upon a Time In ... Hollywood" claims that a president is needed "to bring people together."
"Someone who works as hard for the people who voted for him as for those who did not. May he be a president for all Americans," he says.
Hollywood stars turn to Biden
Pitt is the latest Hollywood star to publicly show his support for the Democratic nomination in this presidential election.
Last week, most of the cast of "Avengers", the highest grossing saga in cinema, organized a virtual event with Kamala Harris, candidate for Vice President. Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd and Zoë Saldaña signed up for the initiative.
Taylor Swift, the artist who has sold the most records this decade, also asked for a vote for Biden after she broke her silence on political issues during the term of Donald Trump.
Swift's announcement came after Billie Eilish, artist of the moment and winner of the last Grammys, asked for a vote for Biden with a message in which she assured that Trump: "He is destroying our country and everything that matters to us."
For their part, Eva Longoria and America Ferrera are two of the most prominent Latino voices calling for a vote for the Democrats.
