Did you know the two songs that Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson recorded?

The King of Pop Michael Jackson and Queen vocalist Freddie Mercury, two great musicians who admired each other, managed to work together in the city of Los Angeles in the early 1980s.

The talented Freddie Mercury was a fan of Michael Jackson, especially for his album 'Off the Wall'. While Jackson had been struck by the staging of the rocker and especially his particular and striking voice.

At that time, Michael was working on the album "Victory" by the band Jackson 5, where he shared with his brothers. The artist invited Mercury to work with him on a new single and they managed to plan their schedules for the Queen frontman to travel to Los Angeles and join in the studio.

From this meeting the theme "State of shock" was born, then, when Jackson wanted to finish recording the single, Freddie was in Germany and his busy schedule made it impossible for him to travel again to meet and finish the song.

But Jackson knew this issue had to come to light, so he asked his friend's permission for the issue to be finished by Mick Jagger (The Rolling Stones). Upon release, 'State of Shock' was the album's biggest hit, reaching number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US.

Later, when Freddie launched himself as a solo artist, he decided that he would include 'Mr. Bad Guy ’the song‘ There must be more to life than this ’, a song that Queen had originally recorded for the‘ Hot Space ’album. But Mercury recorded a new version with Jackson and included it in his first production.
