Meghan Markle is not happy with her new life at court, at least according to dad Thomas, who observes her from a distance - judging her daughter's status probably from the same images we see circulating.
The father of the Duchess of Sussex gave an interview - yet another - to The Sun on Sunday explaining why, according to his judgment, the daughter behind smiles and affectionate gestures would be concealing a state of dissatisfaction, if not fear.
Prince Harry's father-in-law also returned to the theme of the meeting that had never yet taken place with the Queen and Meghan's new family.

Meghan is afraid
According to Thomas Markle, the daughter is not too comfortable in her new role as a member of the royal family:
“I think she is terrified.
I see it in her eyes, I see it on her face and I see it in her smile.
I've seen his smile for years, I know him.
And I don't like what I'm seeing now. This is not even a facade expression, it is a pained smile, of pain.

Thomas Markle's appeal
During the interview, Meghan's father admitted that he hadn't heard from her for almost two months, considering that the last telephone conversation between the two dates back to the day after the wedding.
“I spoke to Harry and Meghan for a few minutes after the wedding.
But now the number I was calling her is no longer active and I don't have an address to reach her.
I texted my contact at the palace saying I wanted to hear from my daughter and got no reply.
It's probably the longest time I've ever gone without talking to her.

"I'm not blaming Harry or anyone else, but they follow protocols that don't make sense to me," continues Thomas Markle.

The past mistakes of Meghan's father
