Meghan Markle, thanks for being so honest and telling us how you really feel being 'royal'
It's not easy, but she has done it (that's why we love her so much).
We know that celebs and royals cry too, but we have a hard time internalizing it. Or rather, we know it but we soon forget it; Every time we see them in any of those images smiling and with styles, haircuts and jewelry that are still not available to everyone, we think that nothing can go wrong for them.
Her lifestyle also contributes to that thinking, although once again the reality is quite different. Now, Meghan Markle, displaying her usual honesty, has shed some light on her true emotions while serving as the Duchess of Sussex.
The royal is sincere in an excerpt from the documentary she recorded with her family during her official trip to Africa, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, which can be seen on Wednesday, October 23 on ABC. “Look, all women, especially during pregnancy, feel very vulnerable. It was a great challenge for me, especially when your first child has just been born ”, she acknowledged.
“As a woman, it's very… it's too much. And if you also add that you are a new mother and that you have just become a married woman ... By the way, thanks for asking, because not many people have asked me if I'm okay, but the truth is that it is something that happens and that I don't want to hide ”, added the royal.
She was more laconic when asked about her state of mind. In this case, she advocated forcefulness: when journalist Tom Bradby wanted to know if it was true that "it was not too good" and if it had been a "difficult" to adapt to life as a royal, she answered yes.
Some statements that no one should be taken by surprise considering the pressure Meghan has felt since her courtship with Prince Harry became known: first, because she faced racism from a few; later, he witnessed the comments of his father and his stepsister, who did not hesitate to speak ill of her for money; and the most recent: the continuous comments about the supposed bad vibes with Kate Middleton, her husband, Prince William, and her character, in general.
