Loved in many cases by the critics -even by the box office-, the reality is that for the general public these current actors and actresses are too overrated and are much less than they seem. Do you agree?
Although within the movie world we have a great cast of magnificent performers, it is true that there are a large number of them that, for one reason or another, the movie-consuming public considers that they are too overrated.
That is why we wanted to collect in this list the five most overrated actors and actresses in modern cinema.
Adam Sandler
In the position number 5 of the most overrated interpreters we have Adam Sandler. Known for comedies like Little Nicky, Aggressive Executive, 50 First Dates or Pixels, Sandler is considered by audiences to be one of the most overrated actors in the comedy genre today.
Beyoncé Knowles
Singers generally don't tend to be good actors, and Beyoncé Knowles seems to be no exception. Participating in films like Austin Powers: The Golden Member, Dreamgirls or Epic, the secret kingdom, Beyoncé is among the most overrated actresses in Hollywood. Megan fox
Another of the most overrated interpreters of modern cinema is undoubtedly Megan Fox. The actress from Jennifer's Body, Transformers and Ninja Turtles has not penetrated especially well with the public, being third on the list.
Robert Pattinson
The protagonist of the Twilight saga sneaks into the number 2 position in this ranking of overrated actors. Participating in the popular Harry Potter saga, Robert Pattinson tried to get rid of Edward Cullen with films such as Remember Me, Water for Elephants or Bel Ami: Story of a seducer, but the shadow cast by the "ghostly vampire" is too great.
Kristen Stewart
It was clear that Pattinson's co-star couldn't walk very far. Considered one of the worst actresses in Hollywood, moviegoers have voted almost unanimously that Kristen Stewart is clearly deserving of the highest position of overrated performers.

We could not forget in this top of overrated actors of some Spanish actor or actress. Of all the overrated actors in Spanish cinema, it seems that the majority of the public chooses Mario Casas as one of the most overrated today. Pigeonholed in the movies as the typical "handsome" by films like Lies and fat or Three meters above the sky, the actor seems to be trying lately to embrace a much more serious style with films like Contratiempo or El fotográfo de Mauthausen.
