Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt together again… but only for a charity event
Married from 2000 to 2005, the Hollywood stars will meet on the occasion of the table read of “Fuori di testa”.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are back together. It's not a boutade and the date is very close, but the couple's fans are forced to fly low. Although the times may appear ripe for a sentimental rapprochement, thanks to their recent separations, the two will meet for a charity event that has nothing to do with the liason that monopolized the covers of the tabloids at the beginning of the century.
The reason for the rendezvous? The anniversary of the release in cinemas of the cult film "Fuori di Testa", which turned 38 on 13 August. Amy Heckerling's teen movie, which tells the sentimental plots and hilarious misadventures of the students of Ridgemont High in California, and which stars among others a then very young Sean Penn, will be celebrated on Friday 21 August at 20 in the New York time zone.
Official Facebook and TikTok from CORE, the non-profit association founded by Sean Penn in response to the earthquake that devastated Haiti on January 12, 2010, will host the event, which can also be streamed on LiveXLive. The purpose is, of course, beneficial, with the evening that will serve to raise funds to fight the coronavirus pandemic, which has affected 5.5 million citizens in the States to date, causing a total of 173,000 deaths. Top secret, however, the plot of the table read: what will the many invited actors do? Will they just toast to the anniversary or will they recall some of the iconic scenes from the film in a modern version?
For the Aniston-Pitt couple this is not the first public meeting after the separation, which took place in 2005 five years after the marriage which came, in turn, after a first meeting with the flavor of love at first sight dated 1998. In the last year, in fact, there were two stages of a possible rapprochement. The first fell on 11 February 2019, when the two-time Oscar winner did an improvisation at the party for his ex-wife's 50th birthday. The second on the occasion of the Screen Actors Guild Awards, during which Aniston was awarded for The Morning Show and Pitt for Tarantino's Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood, a film that also earned him the Oscar for Best Actor. protagonist.
