Meghan Markle goes to Wimbledon with the same hat she wore as last year (and this time she did wear it)
Meghan Markle attended Wimbledon to support her friend, Serena Williams, with a summery look and the same hat she wore to the same tournament last year.
As we anticipated a few weeks ago, not even a maternity leave prevented Meghan Markle from attending Wimbledon to support her friend, Serena Williams, who was playing against the Slovenian, Kaja Juvan. The Duchess of Sussex was present on the tennis court with two of her friends, Lindsay Roth and Genevieve Hill, with whom she sat in the normal bleachers and not in the royal box as she did last year when she attended with her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.
For the meeting, Meghan chose a casual and summery look composed of a simple black top, a white blazer with vertical stripes ideal to stylize the figure of the L'Agence brand, skinny jeans, black court shoes and a white Panama hat from Madwell x Baltimore, the same model that you wore last year. A look reminiscent of pre Harry Meghan.
Summer accessory par excellence and very popular in stands like these, although Meghan wore it last year with that elegant Ralph Lauren outfit that still makes many sigh, she did not wear it at that time to follow the protocol recommendations of royalty that they invite the royals to avoid them in this type of event so that they are not responsible for depriving the rest of the attendees of their sight.
This year, Markle took the hat with her again but this time - and perhaps because she did not sit in the Royal Box - she did use it to protect herself from the sun.
Meghan completed her look with oversized sunglasses and a delicate gold necklace with an Archie A, a gift from American jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer.
