As reported by the Express, Melania with Trump's consent would have redefined some clauses of the divorce plan, specifying certain points left too vague. In fact, his role alongside the Tycoon has changed a lot since the couple set foot in the White House.
Jacqueline Newman, a divorce lawyer, explained that Lady Trump wanted more security guarantees, as well as a higher amount of money. "If she gets divorced now or when Trump is no longer President, there will be many details to discuss, because many things change from being a simple wife to First Lady," explains the expert.
The President had already discussed the divorce issue, thus justifying the agreement: "It is a hard and painful question. But there comes a time when you have to say: 'Honey you are magnificent and I take care of you deeply, but if things don't work out this is what you will get.' Trump then underlined his desire to honor Melania if things go wrong, but he also knows he has his wife's full support on the prenuptial contract: "The great thing is that she agrees.
