That's why Trump wears the long tie (with tape)
Donald Trump is famous not only for his vitriolic and often misplaced jokes and strong stances, but also for his long ties that he wears strictly with tape. The new President of the United States is certainly not a master of style, but that doesn't scare him. Since the beginning of his electoral campaign, he has been heavily criticized for his ties deemed too long.
Over the years this accessory has become a Trump hallmark along with platinum blonde hair so fine and side-swept it looks like a wig. However, he seems not to care and continues to show off his long ties, almost always red, to celebrate the Republican party to which he belongs.
But why does Donald Trump use such long ties? According to those in the know, a man's tie should reach the belt at the most, without ever exceeding it. In the case of the tycoon, however, this rule is not overcome at all. The reason is very simple: Trump does not choose long ties to hide his belly and make the curve they form on his body, being longer, to hide the swelling under his shirt. And the scotch? Trump uses it to keep his tie, which, too long, tends to move.
The ties worn by the tycoon are all strictly Made in Italy. Trump is in fact a lover of Italian tailoring and chooses only accessories that come from our country. Like those of the Brioni brand, which has always been part of the wardrobe of the leader of the White House. A few years ago, the Marinella family refused an invitation to open a boutique in the Trump Tower, but Donald did not give up showing off the famous Neapolitan ties all over the world, especially after Silvio Berlusconi gave him a good supply. Trump also loves the ties by Italo Ferretti, an Abruzzo company that has supplied several extra long ties to the new President of the United States.
