We already know why Trump wears the tie so long (and he's wrong)

Donald Trump always wears his tie below his belt, something that should be prohibited. But why does he do it? We finally know.

Donald Trump had a great secret during all these years in which we have seen him blow his tie. Why did he drop it so long? Well, we finally know.

The answer has been given by Chris Christie, former governor of New Jersey and one of Trump's first Republican allies during his 2016 presidential campaign. In his new book, "Let Me Finish," Christie says that Trump believes long ties will give him make you look slimmer. During the campaign, the US president recommended that Christie do the same if she wanted to appear slimmer. Christie has received a lot of ridicule throughout his political career for being overweight, although he wears it beautifully, as he demonstrated in a visit to Jimmy Fallon in 2015.

But those kinds of Trump recommendations come a long way. At a dinner in 2005, Trump insisted that Christie get in shape so he could fulfill his political ambitions. Christie was then attorney general of New Jersey. Five years later, he won the gubernatorial election despite New Jersey being a state that consistently votes for Democratic candidates. And although he never needed to follow Trump's advice, the truth is that his presidential aspirations fell short in 2016 because it was Trump who swept the rest of the candidates. With a long tie.

And what do the experts say about your decision? As they say in GQ, the idea is that the tie always falls at the height of the belt or waistband. Wearing it too long can lead to unnecessary accidents, especially when it comes to eating or ... well, going to the bathroom.
