WHY DONALD TRUMP USES RED NECKTIES?

If something stands out in Donald Trump's outfit, it is the red ties that he usually wears and that he wore, for example, on the day of his inauguration as president of the United States. It is true that throughout the campaign we have also seen him with a blue tie, and even with other prints, but red has been the dominant color. A choice that surely is not simply aesthetic.

As Ravi Mehta, a researcher at the Illinois College of Business, revealed in a study published in the journal Science, in the world of business, high finance and politics, there are two dominant colors when choosing a tie: and they are red and blue. Of course, sometimes some other shades are seen, but it is not usual.

The study shows that red is a color linked in the minds of people with strength and passion. Therefore, by choosing him, you want to convey a message of strength and leadership. Especially if it is a blood red.

On the contrary, blue (and also purple) are more serene colors, which provoke in whoever sees them a feeling of security and confidence. Therefore, according to the report, whoever chooses a tie of that color is trying to convey the message that he is a self-confident person and with whom he can maintain a relationship of trust.

For this reason, red ties would be preferred by leaders and politicians who want to convey an image of authority, while blue would be more appropriate for the business world, as it could help establish good relationships.

Although we must not forget that something is changing in high places, since there is a new generation of politicians and financiers who prefer to corner that garment, whenever possible. Like, for example, Barack Obama himself, who on many occasions appeared without her before the public and the cameras.
