Meghan Markle conscientiously invests in (very fashionable) oat milk
Markle invested in Clevr Blends, a company that seeks to be friendly to the environment and that promotes healthy eating
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is away from the life of the British actress and seeks where to invest her money without conflict with her beliefs and lifestyle. This is demonstrated by their bet on oat milk. Markle invested in instant oat milk and coffee company Clevr Blends, which sells four flavors of its powdered beverage for $ 28 per 14-serving bag. The company says its products are sustainable, ethically sourced and healthy - precisely what fits into Meghan Markle's philosophy of life.
"This investment supports a passionate entrepreneur who prioritizes building a community alongside her business," Markle said in a statement.
It should be noted that Clevr Blends was founded by Hannah Mendoza in 2019 and she is its current CEO. Meanwhile, Roger Coppola, the other founder, is its chief operating officer. "I am proud to invest in Hannah's commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating a product that I personally love and have a holistic approach to wellness." Clevr Blends uses only organic ingredients or non-GMO, according to the company's website. Additionally, all of the company's shipping materials are 100% post-consumer recycled and 100% recyclable. The company prioritizes "working with smaller, more familiar ingredient suppliers or more transparent supply chains," according to the website. However, what is not known is the amount of investment Meghan Markle made in Clevr Blends.
Here is a video from Clevr Blends in which Oprah Winfrey, the famous TV host, talks about the product:
"Her passion for what we are creating is palpable and I cannot imagine a more aligned partnership," Mendoza said of Markle's investment, adding that she is "excited for the road ahead." Oat milk is an alternative to products that seek to replace dairy products. The product has been a trend among lovers of healthy food.
