Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed a multi-million dollar deal with Spotify
After the multi-million dollar deal with Netflix that was signed last September, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, continue to build their future of financial independence. What's new now is that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed an exclusive contract with Spotify.
According to a statement from the Swedish audio streaming giant, the couple will produce and present different podcasts.
It is a contract signed for several years with Archewell Audio that will function as a platform that, in turn, will offer different content in a complete program that aims to "elevate and entertain audiences around the world with different perspectives and voices". This is how the statement describes the new work of the dukes.
Today, Spotify offers more than 1.5 million podcast titles like The Michelle Obama Podcast and Mama Knows Best from influencer Addison Rae. The app has an audience of more than 320 million active users per month.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, although there is talk of a seven-figure number. The first installment will be a Christmas special with "stories of hope and compassion" to celebrate the new year, according to the statement.
"What we love about podcasting is that it reminds all of us to take a moment and really listen, connect with each other without distraction," the couple said in a joint statement.
"With the challenges of 2020, there has never been a more important time to do so, because when we listen to each other and hear each other's stories, we remember how interconnected we all are."
