The Trump Family has been this week on their first tour of Europe. The trip has had a special relevance, not only because it is the first tour of its kind for Donald Trump and his wife, but because of the significance of the places they have visited. Key moments for a family in which three different religions are practiced, the first to visit the most sacred place for her confession was Ivanka Trump. The president's adviser daughter converted to Judaism in 2009 so she could marry Jared Kushner.
The family practices the Sabbath and eat kosher products. According to Jewish tradition, the most common thing that is requested in front of that holy place is the arrival of the Messiah. "I am thankful for having the experience with a deep meaning for me to visit the holiest place of my faith and leave a small prayer sheet," Ivanka wrote on her Instagram after the time she spent in front of the wall.
Something similar happened to Melania last Wednesday. The Trump family landed in Rome on Tuesday the 23rd and on Wednesday morning they had a private audience with Pope Francis. Melania was very excited throughout the meeting, since she is Catholic, this was confirmed by her spokesperson to the British newspaper

Daily Mail. Donald Trump's wife converted to Catholicism when she matured. She is the daughter of a communist politician, she was not baptized at her birth nor did she receive her First Communion from her in her youth. However, her spokeswoman has not confirmed when she began to believe.

Melania is the first Catholic lady in the White House since the Kennedy marriage. However, unlike John, Donald does not share a religion with his wife or his youngest son, Barron, who has also been educated in Catholicism. The president, influenced by family upbringing, is a Presbyterian. He practices the same religion as his mother and on occasion he has been seen going to the evangelical church. The president could hold discussions with his wife about the differences of the Catholic and Presbyterian precepts, although both religions are born of Christianity.
