Barron Trump will study at a college that costs $ 40,000 a year
The institution has less than 600 students from the first to the last year.
Barron Trump, the youngest son of US President Donald Trump, will move to Washington this summer to begin classes at an exclusive Maryland private school in September, the school informed parents.
The only child of the marriage between Trump and his wife Melania, 11 years old, will enter the private school of St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, in the neighboring state of Maryland.
The parents of the students at this center, which teaches children from kindergarten to grade 12, the last grade before high school, had asked the school for information due to rumors and fears about safety, something that the management confirmed .
The first lady, Melania Trump, issued a statement in which she assures that she attracted them to the school's mission of "inspiring every child in an inclusive community dedicated to exceptional teaching, learning and service."
The school, located a half-hour drive from the White House, is one of the most exclusive in the Washington area with an annual cost of around $ 40,000 per student.
The center boasts that all of its students enter the best universities in the country while applying innovative teaching techniques, many of them related to research on development and brain empowerment.
The school, which has fewer than 600 students from kindergarten to 18 years old, has facilities typical of a small university, with a complete library, art studios, two regulation fields for basketball, baseball, lacrosse or soccer.
Barron will share a class with about 10 classmates, a class size designed to bring out the highest possible potential in students and help those with learning disabilities.
This will be the first time St. Andrew's Episcopal School has a president's son among its students.
Previously, the Clintons and Obamas (who, unlike the Bushes, had school-age daughters) sent their daughters to the renowned Sidwell Friends, based in Washington and Maryland.
Melania and Barron have so far lived in New York, with the aim of the young man finishing his school year at his private school in the exclusive Upper West Side of New York.
As reported by the New York Post newspaper, a few days ago Barron invited about 80 classmates from his school to the White House, where they met with President Donald Trump and spent a day in the US capital.
