Who doesn't know the figure of Donald Trump, this blonde man was born on June 14, 1946 in Queens, New York City. Trump is the youngest of five children. The following is the story of Trump's initiative before the success it is today.


Prior to becoming the 45th President of the United States (US), Trump was known as a property entrepreneur with a wealth of around US $ 3-10 billion. However, according to Forbes as of September 2018, Donald Trump's wealth reached US $ 3.1 billion and positioned himself as the 766th richest person in the world.


Trump made new history for being the first successful businessman to become President of the US in history. However, before becoming as successful as today, there were many stories to go through. Starting from having to go to school in the military, bankrupt businesses, to be revived as a public figure.

Initially, Trump started a career at his father's company, Elizabeth Trump & Son as a part-time worker. However after graduating he worked full time at the age of 22.


Keep in mind, when Donald Trump was born, his father, Fred Trump, was already a successful real estate developer in New York. While working with his father, Trump learned about the many ins and outs of the property business.


In the end, in 1971 Donald Trump had complete control of a company called The Trump Organization. He's looking for a project that is bigger in scale than his father used to do, which is building property for the middle market.


Trump's biggest initial deal was to save the Commodore Hotel from bankruptcy and turn it into the Grand Hyatt. In 1983, Trump built the skyscraper known as the 68-story Trump Tower in downtown Manhattan.


The results of his hard work paid off, from development projects, he managed to get a place in the eyes of the public. In 1987, he capitalized on his fame by writing a book called "The Art of Deal".


With his various successes, Trump spread his wings by moving into the gaming business, he bought Casino Taj Mahal. It is here that Trump finds many stakes in running his business. Trump has more debt than he earns. So, the creditors agreed to restructure their debt and take half of Trump's ownership in the Taj Mahal Casino. Not only that, Trump also sold his airline, Trump Shuttle, and Trump Princess Yacht.


On the verge of bankruptcy in the 1990s, Trump's career as a public figure was revived. According to some reports, Trump received US $ 3 million per episode. This winner is an opportunity for him to start licensing his name and image as the name of a product.


In fact, he has also attached his name to several businesses, such as Trump Buffet, Trump Catering, Trump Ice Cream Parlor and Trump Bar. There are also Trump-branded clothing lines, perfumes, food and beverage products such as Trump Steaks and Trump Vodka, and Trump Magazine.


That brought Trump's wealth back. In the mid-1990s, the US President returned to the list of the 400 richest people in 1996, after being absent for six years.
