Ivanka Trump 'panic' for career before Donald Trump leaves the White House, certain sources | World | New

Donald Trump has repeatedly boasted that his daughter is capable of being America's first female president.

The 45th president of the United States pointed the finger at a crowd of enthusiastic supporters at a rally in New Hampshire in August and said, “Everyone says, 'We want Ivanka! "I don't blame them."

During her four years as a father in the White House, Ivanka has been an advisor to the president and director of the office of economic initiatives and entrepreneurship since 2017.

Her husband, Jared Kushner, is also a senior advisor to her stepfather, President Trump.

But now Trump has become the first US president to be impeached twice, Ivanka and Jared are said to be panicking about their future career prospects.

Kate Bennett, CNN correspondent from the White House, said White House sources told her that the "horrific images" of her past few weeks would haunt Ivanka for the rest of her career.

She said: “This has [Ivanka's husband] Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump panicking as they contemplate their future.

“I have spoken to many sources today who say they are questioning everything now, from where they will live after the White House to what their career will be.

Bennett added that the collapse of the Trump administration will make it "very difficult for them to brag about their accomplishments in this administration."

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives got enough votes to indict Trump, making him the first US president to be impeached twice.

This follows the violent protests in Washington last Thursday that saw thousands of protesters storm the Capitol in an attempt to disrupt the certification of President-elect Biden.

Mr. Trump has been accused of "inciting an insurrection".
