Ivanka Trump's tweet that sparked speculation of a possible White House bid in 2024

Ivanka Trump's Monday tweet that filled Iowa with affection is fueling speculation that she may be considering a bid for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024. Iowa is the first state to vote in the presidential primaries and an essential part of building momentum. for any campaign you hope to win.

Outgoing President Donald Trump is still believed to be considering a race for 2024. Few former presidents have sought the job again after losing re-election, and only one has succeeded. Grover Cleveland finally won a second term in 1892 after losing reelection in 1888.

Trump could hold a January 20 rally in Florida at the same time as President-elect Joe Biden makes his inaugural address, Axios reported earlier this month. This may be the time when Trump decides to announce a race in 2024. An announcement would almost certainly clear the field for almost all Republican rivals, including Trump's sons, as he still holds a large chunk of the Republican base at a control similar to a vice.

Donald Trump Jr is also said to be considering running for office and many observers think he has a much closer relationship with his father's supporter base than his sister Ivanka.

Eric Trump's wife Lara Trump is reportedly considering running for Senate in her home state of North Carolina in 2022, as incumbent Senator Richard Burr announced that she will not run for re-election. Burr resigned as chairman of the Senate intelligence committee in May after an investigation was opened to decide whether he was guilty of insider trading. The outcome of the investigation has yet to be announced.

Rumors about Ivanka Trump's political intentions have already swirled in connection with a possible Senate run in Florida, challenging Marco Rubio in 2022. Ivanka's father beat Rubio by 19 points in the 2016 Republican primary in Florida, which shows that Rubio is far from unbeatable for a Trump in the state.

Trump and her husband Jared Kushner bought a piece of land in Miami Beach, The New York Post first reported. The purchase could be part of a plan to build a base in the state and possibly run for office. Florida is fertile territory for the Trumps. Donald Trump bought the exclusive Mar-a-Lago resort in southeastern Florida in 1985 and called it "The White House of the South" during his tenure. Long considered an undecided state, Florida twice voted for Donald Trump, who increased his margin of victories in the state in 2020 compared to 2016. Barack Obama narrowly won the state in 2008 and 2012.

Adam Smith, former political editor of the Tampa Bay Times, told CNN that "normal rules would not apply to Ivanka."

"I think she would be the immediate favorite if she ran for the United States Senate against Rubio, given the popularity of her father in Sunshine State," he said.

Florida Republican Party Chairman Joe Gruters said the rumors of Ivanka's possible Senate run were "just noise," reported Orlando Weekly.
