Meghan Markle wants to change the perception of the body postpartum
The duchess says that being beautiful doesn't mean always having to be thin.
Postpartum body perception
They say that pregnancy is one of the most magical stages in a woman's life. When she gives birth, the only thing a new mother wants to do is rest and take care of her child. However, media pressure motivates women to try to lose weight to lose their body postpartum. I mean, who would want to starve and exercise to death after having a baby? Celebrities, however, have it worse when they are in the spotlight. They tend to use harmful methods to regain their prepartum figure. For example, Beyoncé went on a dangerous diet that was combined with intense exercise routines after having her twins.
Meghan after her pregnancy
Meghan Markle loved showing her belly to the public and we loved seeing her. The new mother welcomed little Archie in May 2019.
According to Us Weekly, a royal source revealed that the Duchess has more important things to do than lose the weight that she left after giving birth. According to the informant, the former actress wants to change the perspective that she says that a woman has to be slim in order to be beautiful.
Meghan wants to be an example for new mothers, as she knows that losing weight is extremely difficult postpartum. The Duchess of Sussex cares more about health, so she follows a plant-based diet (always with some cravings) and practices yoga and meditates every day. The royal source says that she even she has taught some moves to her husband, Prince Harry.
