Since her husband became President of the United States, First Lady Melania Trump has heard more scandalous than positive things. But appearances can be deceptive: According to a recent survey, the Slovenian is quite popular in the United States.
The public associates the name Melania Trump with an unerring instinct for inappropriate outfits. Regardless of whether it was a “I don't care” jacket or a safari suit in the colonial style in Africa, Mrs. Trump always received the concentrated load of malice, ridicule and anger on social networks. The result of a recent survey by the British opinion research institute YouGov is all the more surprising. The company surveyed around 42,000 people in 41 countries for their rankings of the most admired men and women - locally in each country and worldwide.
Melania Trump actually landed at number 3 on the American list of the most admired women, making the former model up seven places, as Donald Trump's wife just made it into the top 10 last year.
