Melania Trump, ready for a millionaire divorce
According to the British tabloids, the American first lady is about to give the welcome to her husband, married 15 years ago. There is talk of an agreement of 50 million dollars, plus two houses and the use of a private plane
Melania Trump, 50, is literally "counting the minutes" that separate her from the moment her husband Donald Trump, 74, leaves the White House for good to make room for Joe Biden. And then, as the Daily Mail claims, she can finally get a divorce.
The hypothesized terms of this possible divorce are stellar: there is talk of 50 million dollars, two houses and the use of the private plane for his travels and those of his son Barron, born in 2006. To whom, apparently, the first Lady wanted to ensure a bright future by signing a solid post-marital agreement with Trump.
The tabloid has collected the words of some former collaborators of the President's staff. Among these, Stephanie Wolkoff, former senior adviser to the First Lady of the United States, who said that the couple, married for 15 years (but in a "transaction" marriage), had always slept in separate rooms.
Melania Trump would feel "repulsion" for her husband
"If Melania were to try to humiliate him for the last time," added Omarosa Manigault Newman (below, his Instagram profile), star of The Apprentice program and former White House adviser, "or leave when he is in charged, Trump would find a way to punish her ».
However, the former director of communications for the president of the United States, for whom she worked from 2017 to 2018, seems to be certain that "Melania is counting every minute until he is no longer in office, in order to get a divorce." Indeed, she still affirms, "Melania would feel repulsive towards her husband", as she told last month on a television show.
The coldness between Melania Trump and Donald
No confirmation or denial has arrived from those directly concerned regarding these suppositions. Melania, for her part, has always claimed to have a "solid" marriage with her husband, but the situations that have seen them protagonists in public seemed to show exactly the opposite.
There has always been an underlying coldness between the two, and there have never been any gestures of affection. The first lady seemed very skilled at "dodging" her husband when she tried to take her hand, if only to help her down the stairs. According to Newman, avoiding her husband's hand on media occasions had a clear intention for Melania: to humiliate him publicly.
Not that he was a great gentleman, to be honest: he was often seen holding, on rainy days, an umbrella to cover himself without paying any attention to his wife and younger son, who followed him a few steps behind him under the rain.
Donald Trump's previous divorces
That from Melania, if it were to materialize, would be the third divorce signed by the American magnate. The first was the one with the then Czech model Ivana, married in 1977 and from whom he divorced in 1992.
The woman, who made him the father of three children (Donald John, Ivanka and Eric Frederic), was "compensated" with 14 million dollars, a mansion in Connecticut, a large apartment in New York. She was also granted access - but only once a year - to the Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, purchased by Trump in 1985 for $ 8 million and transformed into a luxury resort.
Then there was Marla Maples, the actress married in 1993 from whom she divorced in 1999, after having also given birth to a daughter, Tiffany, who later grew up with her mother in California. The tycoon would have given her "only" 2 million dollars.
