There is a theory that Melania Trump has a stunt double
The first images of a first lady different from what we are used to seeing date back to 2017, the year from which three versions are hypothesized: the first would like Melania dead, according to a conspiracy theory close to the one that has surrounded other characters such as Avril Lavigne for years. the second would simply like to have escaped from Donald Trump, separated and unwilling to continue her life alongside the president. According to the third version, which is also the most accredited of her, Melania would instead take advantage of some "stunts", many other Melanias who replace her at certain times.
Dazed & Confused has tried to explain the origin of the theories that for many have authentic reasons. On October 13, NBC News tweeted: "We did a great job in Puerto Rico," says President Trump about hurricane relief, "posting a (now strangely deleted) photo of Trump accompanied by Melania. Guardian columnist Marina Hyde, who has repeatedly called herself the one that gave rise to the theory of "fake Melania", reposted the photo with the caption: "I am absolutely convinced that Melania is played by an imitator of Melania in these days. Explanation: she left him weeks ago and ran away ".

In fact, it wasn't the first time anyone had thought of a stunt double - a Business Insider article that investigated the strange theory found images and Tweet threads that suggest Melania has at least had a lookalike long before Hyde. he pointed this out with such an echo that in March 2018, Trump felt compelled to address the issue at the end of a trip to Alabama: "The Fake News retouched Melania's photos, she was really with me He said in a tweet. And even the first lady's spokesperson, Stephanie Grisham, had been forced to intervene by ensuring that Melania was free of stunts. But in the meantime the photos and videos in which Melania looked different have multiplied, returning strongly in this pre-election period. Among these, the image of her climbing aboard Marine One, the presidential helicopter, with a "strange tooth" they pointed out on Twitter. "This can't be Melania," wrote one user, "she smiles."
