 Ramsay’s knock-back came three years after he said he would like to cook dinner for Trump’s election rival Hillary Clinton.



The celebrity chef was asked to prepare dinner for the US president when he visited the UK earlier

this year.


But the star rejected the offer to provide the menu for a banquet at Blenheim Palace.


Prime Minister Theresa May, Cabinet ministers and the country’s top business leaders attended the high-security event.



The lavish dinner took place on the first night of the president’s three-day tour with First Lady Melania, which took place in July.


Ramsay’s knock-back came three years after he said he would like to cook dinner for Trump’s election rival Hillary Clinton.


So it’s little surprise that his response to feeding him was: “Thank you but no thank you.”


The meal took place amid scenes of high security as about 3000 protesters converged on streets

around the palace.


Ramsay agreed to cook dinner at 10 Downing Street for Russian president Vladimir Putin in 2010.


The chef, who donated his fee to charity, drafted staff from his own restaurants to help prepare the meal.


Johnstone-born Ramsay revealed he snubbed the chance to cook for Trump during an interview about his new ITV show, The Ultimate Road Trip, which starts on Thursday.
