Ivana Trump proclaims herself "first lady", Melania Trump responds curtly
Melania Trump did not appreciate that her husband's ex-wife, Ivana Trump, called herself "First Lady."
The joke didn't make Melania Trump laugh. Monday, in an interview with the ABC channel for the promotion of his new book entitled "Raising Trump", Ivana Trump, the first wife of Donald Trump, proclaimed herself "First lady". A provocation playing on words, since she was indeed the first wife of the current president,
When the reporter asked her how often she spoke with her ex-husband, Ivana Trump replied, “Once every 14 days or so. I have the direct number for the White House, but I don't want to call her there because Melania is there ”.
“And I don't want to create jealousy or anything like that, because I'm Trump's first wife. I'm the first lady okay? ” she added with a big smile, before explaining that she "would hate Washington" if she had been in the place of Melania Trump.
"Noise to draw attention to herself and put herself forward"

This provocation on the part of Donald Jr.'s mother, Ivanka and Eric, Donald Trump's three eldest children, did not go very well with Melania Trump. His spokesperson Stephanie Grisham expressed on CNN channel the anger of the current wife of the President. Melania Trump "loves living in Washington DC and is honored in her role as First Lady of the United States," the spokesperson said.
“She intends to use her title and role to help children, not to sell books. There is clearly no basis for this statement from an ex. Unfortunately, it is just noise to draw attention to her and put herself forward, ”she added.
