Melania Trump wore a jacket that costs about the same as what a family in the US makes a year
Melania Trump has definitely come out of her shell on her first trip abroad as the first lady of the United States. She has been by the side of her husband, President Donald Trump, but she has also made visits on her own account in schools and hospitals. She was also in the audience with the pope, revealing her Catholic faith.
This Friday in Sicily, while Trump was meeting with world leaders at the G7 Summit, the first lady took the opportunity to go sightseeing with the other spouses, and she did so wearing a $ 51,500 Dolce & Gabbana jacket.
The "3D Flowers" jacket is from the Italian house's designer clothing line, autumn 2017 collection, and is not yet available in most stores. However, the luxury store, Moda Operandi, has already sold out; those who made the early purchase were required to make a deposit of 25,750.
Trump wore this expensive coat at activities this Friday that included a visit to the Chierici City Hall in Catania. To get there, she and the other spouses were transferred from the G7 site, via private helicopter.
The first lady shared her opinion on the trip on social media.

Going back to the jacket, which she wore like this when it was introduced by the brand in February:
Trump has dressed more Dolce & Gabbana than any other brand on this trip, including some flowery shoes at the $ 1,995 dinner in Belgium at the end of the NATO summit on Thursday.

Trump may have been loaned the jacket, as is customary for public events or important dinners, but the White House has not responded to a request from CNN for a response on this issue.
