The silent life of Barron, the youngest son of Donald Trump
The young man has just turned 13 years old and his mother has congratulated him on social networks while trying to protect him from curiosity. After two years in the White House little is known about him
A few weeks after Donald Trump became president of the United States, accredited journalists at the White House were informally called to ask that the privacy of Barron, the youngest son of the Republican politician, be respected. His parents feared that such a commotion would alter his life. At the same time, Melania, the first lady, decided to stay a few more months in New York so that Barron could finish the school year and gradually acclimate to his new life.
Two years after Trump's arrival to the presidency, Barron's figure is very silent. He is only seen with his parents getting off or getting on planes and little else. Unlike Malia and Sasha, the daughters of the Obamas, or Chelsea, the daughters of the Clintons, Barron does not serve as the son of president. Of course, the US media comment on the sullen attitude of the youngest Trump and also the physical change that he has experienced. In height he already exceeds his mother, who measures 1.80. The specialists, percentile in hand, predict that when he is 18 years old he will be the tallest in the family, a title that Erik now has, which reaches 1.96.
Barron Trump is physically a carbon copy of his father. "He is a very strong mentally, very special and intelligent boy. He is independent and stubborn and knows exactly what he wants. He is a mixture of us in appearance, but his personality is identical to that of his father, that's why I call him Little Donald" , explained his mother in an interview with the North American press. Barron Trump shares with his father his love of golf, a sport they practice together on weekends. He is also passionate about video games, although he told his mother that he wanted to be a "businessman".
During the election campaign, Barron, like the rest of his siblings, was present at events organized to promote his father but then disappeared from the public scene. In that short space of time, the young man was serious and not very receptive to the interest that he aroused in the media. Becoming the son of the President of the United States and grabbing the attention of the media is not easy. And Chelsea Clinton knows this well, as she spent her adolescence as the daughter of a president, something that she suffered from 1993 to 2001 while she lived in the White House. Last January, Bill Clinton's daughter made a public defense of Barron Trump: "Barron Trump deserves every child's opportunity to have a childhood."
In the last few hours, Michelle Obama has also talked about how her daughters coped with the years they lived in the White House. Malia was 10 and Sasha was seven when Barack Obama was appointed president and the great concern of the couple was that they did not feel that they lived in a fish tank. “It took a lot of effort to keep them in their reality. We made sure to attend parent-teacher meetings, go to their games, and have children sleeping in our house. And that takes work ”, he explained. Imagine attending a parent-teacher conference with a 20-car caravan and police officers yelling at the teachers, 'Get out of the way!'
Barron studies at the private St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, located in the affluent Potomac neighborhood of Maryland on the outskirts of the capital and whose annual cost is $ 40,000. He is the first presidential son to opt for this college, which educates about 600 students, from preschool to the end of secondary education.
Melania released this Wednesday on her social networks the image of two large balloons with the number 13 and wrote: "Happy birthday BWT", referring to his full name, Barron William Trump.
Barron is Melania's only child and Donald's youngest son. He has several half-siblings on his father's side: Donald Jr, Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany. Melania is proud of him: "The most important and happy role I have ever had is being the mother of my son."
