Donald Trump launches his site to stay in touch with his supporters
Former US President Donald Trump has launched a new website, designed to stay in touch with his supporters.
Donald Trump's office announced the launch of the site, 45office.com, in a statement released Monday evening, The Hill media reported. The site allows people to send comments, request an appearance or a greeting from the former president.
The site's launch comes as Donald Trump remains suspended or banned from major social media, including Twitter and Facebook, from actions taken in the wake of the Jan.6 attack on the Capitol in Washington.
Walk on the Capitol
A crowd of Donald Trump supporters swarmed the US Congress busy certifying Joe Biden's victory in the US presidential election. The attack left five people dead.
The rhetoric used by Donald Trump on social networks had been pointed out as having ignited the powder. He kept repeating that the election had been stolen from him and he had told his supporters to march on the Capitol and that they "had to show their strength".
A spokesperson for Donald Trump told Fox News that the former president was considering starting his own social network.
