Humble Ashley Biden takes on Ivanka Trump: how America's first daughter is different from Donald Trump's white bomb
As Joe Biden prepares to run for office as the 46th President of the United States of America, his family, including his daughter, are all under pressure. And we all wonder, how will they get along with the Trump family?
Yes, one thing is certain - the new first daughter, Ashley Biden, will not follow in the footsteps of her predecessor. No.
In fact, by the time they were both 39 years old, Ashley and Ivanka were not much different. Here are six ways in which the two daughters of the president are different.
Both are educated, but they follow very different ways of life
The first incoming daughter graduated from New Orleans ’Tulane University, pursuing a course in traditional anthropology. He later graduated with a degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania, choosing to give his life in giving those who needed a voice a platform.
Ivanka then went to the famous Georgetown University in Washington where she was a student in the MSB program for two years. He later moved to Penn’s Wharton School of Business and has taken his studies to open various businesses with great, personal gain.
Profit fashion vs charity fashion
In 2007, Ivanka unveiled the Ivanka Trump Fine Jew jewelry brand, which was soon followed by her clothing label. While the brand has enjoyed success over the years, in 2018 it was shut down, apparently due to an increased scrutiny of his role in the company and a conflict of interest with his position at White House.
Ashley's fashion line was intended to help when she presented the Livelihood Collection at New York Fashion Week. The ethical clothing brand raises funds for the Delaware Community Foundation, and its logo is a gift to Beau Biden, Ashley's brother whose mother died of cancer in 2015.
Social media queen vs first private daughter
Ivanka no doubt knows how to end her life, since she was first seen from an early age. His Instagram account has over 7.5 million followers who regularly follow him. On the other hand, even though Ashley was born politically, she has a secret Instagram account kept only for family and close friends.
Working with dad vs drawing his life
As soon as Donald Trump took office, Ivanka secured a seat in the Oval Office as presidential adviser. Although the gig was unpaid, the position was strong, giving him important roles and decisions to manage. And while Biden's management is still in the process of being appointed, it is believed that Ashley will not play a major role in her father's presidency, instead choosing to continue her life as a social worker.
It's generally cool
Ivanka is known for her flawless appearance. She’s become a stylist, with her matching suits and flawless hair. Ashley, on the other hand, prefers a more formal look, preferring slimmer make-up, casual clothes and flats.
Men are at work
As Ivanka took part in her father's administration, her husband Jared Kushner also defended his position at the White House, being given the position of senior adviser to Trump. He was often seen on the president's side and played a major role in major decisions involving the US. Ashley's husband, Howard Kerin, on the other hand, is an assistant professor of otolaryngology for head and neck surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and apparently has no plans to quit his political career for his cousins.
