In what sense was Meghan Markle accused of bullying and Buckingham Palace launched an investigation?
The skirmishes, it seems, continue ...
"There is no peace for Meghan Markle" we already said, right? There is no peace for Buckingham Palace either, though. The latest royal news, incredible but true, is that the Duchess has been accused of "bullying" by two former staff members in the British newspaper The Times. In short, as in a real cold war skirmishes between the two sides alternate in a curtain that certainly does not honor the royal family. Obviously there are already those who say that this novelty is simply a response to the choice of the Sussexes to release their long-awaited interview with Oprah Winfrey where they will talk about #Megxit and that it seems that it is not really appreciated at the Palazzo. Whether this is true or not, the situation looks decidedly tense.
Breaking: Buckingham Palace has opened an investigation into claims revealed in The Times that staff were bullied by the Duchess of Sussex when she was at Kensington Palace.

Staff past and present will be interviewed to see if “lessons can be learned”. https://t.co/2NGX5hOBB8
While the most disparate accusations against Markle bounce from tabloid to tabloid, this time they seem to have hit the mark as Buckingham Palace reacted with a far from conciliatory statement. "We are clearly very concerned about the Times allegations following allegations made by former employees of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Therefore, our human resources team will look into the circumstances outlined in the article. An investigation will then be launched to establish the truth". Apparently it is getting serious, so and that didn't please Prince Harry at all. The couple's response came on time and vitriolic. As stated in the offending piece, Sussex lawyers told the Times that the newspaper was "being used by Buckingham Palace to promote a completely false narrative" prior to the interview with Winfrey.
The fact that the royal couple are openly blaming Buckingham Palace seems to open up a new level of tension between the Duke and Duchess and the rest of the royal family. At this point it's hard to deny that relationships are quite compromised. "The Duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character particularly as a woman who has been bullied," the lawyers continued, "and is deeply committed to supporting those who have suffered pain and trauma. She is determined to continue her own.
I work by building compassion around the world and will continue to strive to lead by example to do what is right. " It is impossible to really understand what she is boiling in the pot under these public statements. On the one hand it is understandable that Markle is fed up with the media bombardment, on the other hand the Queen cannot quietly dismiss the accusations involving the royal staff. But is that all? Perhaps we will have some answers on March 7th.
