Interview of Meghan and Harry: the royal family "is not racist", assures William
4 four days after Meghan and Harry's accusations of racism against the royal family in their interview with Oprah Winfrey, Prince William is breaking his silence.
Prince William comes out of his silence. On March 11, while visiting a school in east London, Prince Harry's brother reacted to accusations of racism against the British royal family. In their interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan and Harry revealed the concerns of some family members over Archie's skin color.
Asked about these accusations by the British channel SkyNews, during the visit of the school, Prince William declared: "We are not at all a racist family". The journalist then asks him if he has been in contact with his brother, Prince Harry, since the famous interview. "I have not spoken to him yet, but it is planned," said the Duke of Cambridge soberly. For this school visit, he was accompanied by his wife Kate Middleton, who was not interviewed by the British channel.
On the evening of March 9, Queen Elizabeth II reacted in a statement, after the now famous interview with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. "The whole family is saddened to learn how difficult the past few years have been for Harry and Meghan," the palace said, stressing that the couple and their son Archie "will always be much loved family members."
