Melania Trump declared 'most beautiful' ever as she stuns in plunging dress
MELANIA TRUMP has always been a firm favourite of fashion critics and her recent throwback Twitter post is no exception.
The First Lady wowed in a form-fitting black gown with a dramatic slit up the front, in a series of nostalgic photos uploaded to her FLOTUS Twitter account yesterday. Melania posed up a storm in a never seen before snap from the 2018 Governors Ball, as she prepares to host this year's event alongside her husband at the White House.
Melania tweeted: “Looking forward to hosting members of the @governors_nga & their spouses at the @WhiteHouse Governor’s Ball tomorrow night. It is an annual tradition to come together for a bipartisan gala to strengthen the friendships between states & their leaders.”
In other pictures added to the jaw-dropping post, Melania showed off her exceptional physique as she cosied up with husband Donald for a sweet display of public affection.
Melania has legions of loyal fans who often enjoy seeing the FLOTUS’S latest ensembles, and this time was no different as her followers gushed over the scintillating images.
One commented: “The most beautiful first lady ever!!! Thank you Melania!”
A third said: “More beautiful with every passing year! We are happily praying for your family Melania for guidance, discernment, and safety. 4 more years of grace!”
A fourth exclaimed: “I'm happy to hear you are planning to be very involved in the 2020 campaign! We love our FLOTUS!”
The Governors Ball is hosted by the President and FLOTUS every year as they welcome lawmakers from 50 states to the White House.
It comes as Melania is set to host a pair of spring fundraisers to gain sponsors for Trump’s 2020 campaign.
The first of the fundraisers is set to take place on March 18 in Beverly Hills followed by a March 25 event at the Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.
The proceeds from the events will be to benefit ‘Trump Victory’ (a joint fundraising account for the Trump 2020 campaign) and the Republican National Committee.
The President is a regular on the donor circuit, but Melania is a newcomer to the political fundraiser scene.
Before the 2018 midterm elections, the first lady sent out a fundraising appeal defending her husband.
She said: “Democrats and the opposition media are doing everything they possibly can to discredit Donald with false accusations by spreading their fake news and making it appear that he does not have the support of America’s voter.”
Republican officials see Melania Trump as a great way to get big donors in, as it provides an opportunity to connect with the president’s family.
Donald Trump Jr, the president’s son, is a frequent guest at donor events, as is Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor, Jared Kushner.
So far the Trump reelection campaign has raised $463 (£393) million dollars in 2019 and has already raised over $200 (£169) million this year.
