Melania Trump opts for a very strict look to meet Queen Elizabeth II and avoids the fashion faux pas
For her date with Elizabeth II, Melania Trump wore a white jacket with a high collar unusual for her. She had matched it with a skirt of the same color and a black leather belt. A lot of sobriety and seriousness therefore!
For the first part of her visit to Great Britain, Melania Trump had opted for a striped dress signed Victoria Beckham at 1,200 euros and for Christian Louboutin heels. While English demonstrators protested against Donald Trump's coming to their country, she then met Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle.
The straight cream skirt of her Dior suit (a designer also chosen for her meeting with the Macrons last April) fell below her knees and she had embellished it with a pair of stilettos.
With her Dior outfit, Melania wore only her engagement ring and a pair of diamond earrings. Her long hair was tied in a bun that she had rarely seen. It was more classic on the makeup side with a strong mascara and a light pink lipstick. However, she was not wearing tights. Yet it is something that the Queen cares about, who wants all the women of the Royal Family to use it for public outings.
