Prince Harry-Meghan Markle's interview with Oprah is considered treason

One of Queen Elizabeth II's staff stated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview to Oprah was a form of betrayal. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex couple's interview rocked Buckingham Palace, to the dismay of many. In fact, the Queen had to wait up to two days before finally releasing a statement via Buckingham Palace.

The unidentified staff of Queen Elizabeth II told the Sunday Times that the couple's actions were "treason". Another source revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's statement was a form of disloyalty to the British Empire. For them, the interview with Oprah Winfrey will provide fresh air for republican supporters around the world. Last week in her statement, the Queen said she was saddened by Harry-Meghan's comments released on March 7 in the US. Even so, the 94-year-old monarch insists he will investigate the truth of these claims. Especially in connection with the accusation that Harry-Meghan commented that their son Archie's skin color was feared to be "darker".

"Real threat"

"Obviously this is a real threat, if you try to stem the Harry-Meghan narrative they will raise more accusations," said the Buckingham source. Reported by The Sun Sunday (14/3/2021), the interview reportedly made Harry's father and brother, Prince Charles and Prince William, hurt. Even so, Prince Charles, who is the Crown Prince of the British Empire, is trying to improve relations with his youngest son. The Prince of Wales is said to be trying to contact the 36-year-old prince in the next few weeks.

Previously, the Duke of Sussex claimed he was hurt that his father had stopped contacting him. Prince Charles's friend told the Mail on Sunday that the ex-husband of the late Princess Diana was disappointed with her son's statement. "But after much deliberation, he realized there was no point in continuing to fight back," explained the source. The friend said Camilla, the wife of Prince Charles, saw her husband was hurt but trying to mend the relationship. Another report said the Prince of Wales gave hundreds of thousands of pounds to the Sussex couple last year.
