Barron Trump conspiracy video launches autism debate
Actress Rosie O’Donnell tweeted a video that seeks to show that Donald Trump's young son suffers from autism. His health is becoming a big topic of discussion online.
First we have to introduce Rosie O’Donnell, American comedian and host, gay activist, whom Donald Trump has insulted for ten years in the media and on Twitter (she does him well).
The argument began in 2006. That day, on the set of The View, Rosie O’Donnell mocked Donald Trump who had just held a press conference.
In front of the cameras, Donald Trump gave 2006 Miss USA Tara Conner a "second chance" after she was spotted drinking and snorting coke at a New York nightclub.
On the TV set, with a wave, Rosie O’Donnell gives her hair the movement of Trump's. Mouth forward, she imitates him:
“Everyone has the right to a second chance and I will give them a second chance. "
O’Donnell then mocks "moral figure" Trump, who has repeatedly left wife and children. She laminates it.
“Is Barron Trump autistic? "
Warned by his wife Melania, Donald Trump will watch the sequence and never get upset. For ten years now, he has not been able to hear the host’s name without twisting and releasing irresistibly downpours of insults ("degenerate", "disgusting inside and out").
This affair with Rosie O’Donnell even broke into the first debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Live, the Democratic candidate, who accused her of sexism, shouted some of the insults uttered by Trump towards the actress.
It was against this backdrop of obsessive public loathing that Rosie O’Donnell tweeted on November 21,
“Is Barron Trump autistic? If so: what an incredible opportunity to shed light on this epidemic. "

Heavy and benevolent
Linked to this tweet (more than 900,000 followers), a YouTube video that compiles clues that suggest that Barron Trump, the son of the president-elect, born in 2006, may be autistic: uncoordinated gestures, bizarre social behavior , facial expressions.
As in a conspiratorial video, as in the recent Marina Joyce affair, everything goes, everything is recovered:
Donald Trump had Barron when he was already 60, and isn't it said that there is a strong correlation between the age of the father and the risk of autism in children?
During his campaign, Donald Trump has often emphasized the autism epidemic and the alleged link between these disorders and vaccines.
He also said that Barron was good at math and was very good at computers (a misconception on high-level autistic people).
This video - seen nearly four million times - is stuffy, clumsy, but probably benevolent. She calls on Americans to stop mocking (#Stopbullying).
On November 9, when Donald Trump took the stage for his victory speech, Barron Trump looked lost, his face contorted and he blinked. It was 3:30 in the morning.
In front of their TVs, those who had started staring at young son Trump could not take their eyes off him. Videos, close-up of Barron, had circulated over the next few days. This one, for example, seen 600,000 times, with a lullaby in the background.
Barron, the silent child
The autism video was posted two days after the election. And if it has been so shared, it is because there is room for doubt.
Barron Trump is the president’s mystery and silent child.
Barron is 10 years old. But at that age, the Obama girls were already speaking in front of the cameras - in family interviews. And with the Trumps, as with the Kennedys, there is a dynastic culture. All children have unlimited exposure - especially the girls, Ivanka and Tiffany.
On Barron, there is nothing. When he was six, he was heard saying "no" to a TV host. And that's all. Other than that, there are only pictures, where he and his mother, with their inert and serious air, look like they are made of wax.

Pictures of caviar pasta and golf courses with a view are posted on the Trump kids' Instagram accounts. On the account which could be that of Barron (not certified), only two photos were posted, a gun and banknotes. And then, nothing more.
We just know that Barron has a funny life: he has a floor all to himself in the Trump Tower, a space he wanted uncluttered and white (at the same time, we understand that).
We just know that Barron has a funny life: he has a floor all to himself in the Trump Tower, a space he wanted uncluttered and white (at the same time, we understand that).
We also know that Barron has a left side (not necessarily more than another wealthy 10-year-old and the center of media attention). In the campaign images, he appears with a closed face. ABC News filmed him during a speech by his father, in deep boredom.
"My daughter, Dakota, is autistic"
For this now deleted tweet, Rosie O’Donnell was virtually beaten up on social media. Parents of sick children took his remark for yet another sting to the President of the United States. They felt the disease was being instrumentalized.
You have no interest in Barron. You want to stir up trouble. Play fair. Don't attack kids, Rosie! This is low, even for you!

But this Saturday, on her personal website, Rosie O’Donnell wrote an explanatory text:
“This is what happened. Dakota, my three and a half year old daughter, was diagnosed with “high functioning autism” last September. I have been immersed in this world ever since. I learn, I read, I ask questions. It's autism every day, all the time. We also try to attach ourselves to anything that allows us to stand up. Knowing that we are not alone, that others are going through this too helps us. I saw this video on Barron, asking for the teasing to stop, and it was about the symptoms that many children with autism have. It was educational and informative. These symptoms that many do not understand ... I thought to myself: IF this is true, this is unbelievable. IF this is true, and I tweeted it sincerely, it could help tremendously in the fight against the epidemic. One in 55 children is an epidemic. Donald Trump and I agree on that and that's the only thing we agree with [...]. I have no bad thoughts for this child, and if you knew me, you would know [...]. For those who hated me, what I can tell them is that humans try a lot and often fail. Let's make peace and try to save democracy from the hands of this nutcase. "
"Stop, if you're not a shrink"
The comedian's tweet caused the Barron's autism video to skyrocket. He also initiated an online debate.
Some, following on from the viral video, explain that Barron Trump obviously suffers from autism.
This father, for example, whose son has autistic disorders. After his weight training session, he gives his opinion:
"The way he moves, the way he applauds ... He doesn't react when what's going on around him is funny or isn't. "
"Does Donald Trump's son have autism?" "
Others are alarmed to see so many people indulging in savage diagnosis on social media.
“The speculation about Barron’s alleged autistic disorder started long before the election [...]. Since the election, I've seen loads of posts [on Facebook] taking it for granted that Barron Trump was ill - Asperger's syndrome or autistic disorder. I just wanted to tell them to stop. If you're not a clinical psychologist, stop. If Barron suffers from autistic disorder, it has not been made public, the information has not been released. Parents probably made this choice for a reason. We don't have to choose when and where they want to talk about it. If not and you say it is, what's the point. "
"This is not a harassment video"
According to TMZ, Melania Trump wants this video removed and is considering suing James Hunter, the YouTuber who uploaded it. This Monday, the latter posted a message in the caption of the video:
“TMZ just contacted me to tell me that Melania Trump was about to sue me and wants a public apology. I am absolutely terrified, and I don’t know if this is right or wrong. I want to say it again: this is not a harassment video. I was diagnosed with autism at age five and was bullied, I would NEVER do something like that. I did it because I genuinely believed Barron was on the spectrum and wanted people to stop making fun of his weird behavior [...]. If the rumor is true, and Mrs. Trump really wants this video taken down, I will. I have the utmost respect for her and her family. "
