Coronavirus: Donald Trump suggests injecting bleach into the bodies of patients
President Donald Trump was at a press conference at the White House this Thursday. In front of many doctors, he recommended injecting bleach to cure Covid-19.
An ultraviolet cure and an injection with bleach to cure the coronavirus? This false good idea comes straight from the United States, from the very mouth of the president of the country. This Thursday, Donald Trump gave a press conference within the White House, in the presence of many doctors.
Before the president's speech, an official from the Department of Homeland Security presented the results of a preliminary study on SARS-CoV-2. This concludes that the lifespan of the virus on surfaces and in the air is reduced by many factors: among others, heat, humidity and UV rays. The president then turns to Deborah Birx, doctor, who is part of the White House "task force". "Deborah, have you ever heard of heat or light in the face of this virus?" The scene horrified many healthcare professionals. The latter reacted on social networks, imploring anyone not to swallow bleach. "
