Meghan and Harry: houses, private jets ... These advantages which amount to millions
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been given many gifts since the start of their relationship. The Daily Mail estimates that their sum amounts to nearly 3.9 million euros.
The wealthiest are often those who receive the most gifts. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry can attest to this, since they have benefited from 3.5 million pounds, or nearly 3.9 million euros, of free services, products and travel, as revealed by the Daily Mail on Friday 21st of August. The British daily calculated this amount based on the revelations made in the biography Finding Freedom, and on facts already known to the British.
For her first date with Prince Harry in June 2016, Meghan Markle's stay in London was free. "She had been offered a heavily discounted stay in the 5-star Dorchester hotel but preferred to choose the luxurious room provided by Markus [Anderson]," one read. Thanks to her friend, high up in the exclusive club Soho House, the Duchess of Sussex did not have to pay the 405 pounds her room should have cost her.
The Frogmore Cottage, £ 3.25million
Another date for the couple was kindly offered. In October 2018 during their trip to Australia with their former friend Jessica Mulroney and her husband, "a billionaire lent them his house for an intimate and completely secret evening, with a five-course meal prepared by a private chef." The Daily Mail estimates this dinner at 5,000 pounds.
The Sussexes have also been given gifts by their famous friends. George Clooney brought them to his Lake Como property, via a private jet flight that would cost at least £ 13,260. The tabloid also estimates that they should have paid 45,000 pounds to rent the house loaned by director Tyler Perry. In the sum of all these gifts, there is also the price of Frogmore Cottage, which the Daily Mail estimates at 3.25 million pounds.
