Prince Harry "shocked": this radical decision he could take in the face of the "cold" reception reserved by his family

On April 17, Prince Harry was back in the UK for the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip, who died on April 9. If the hopes tended towards a reconciliation between the latter and Prince William, the icy reception which would have been reserved for him would have upset him. Prince Harry would have taken a radical decision ...

A family reunion that was not enough ... On April 9, Prince Philip breathed his last. Sad news for the royal family of England who had to organize their funeral in the conditions of the health crisis. Only thirty people were invited to this funeral ceremony while sober, as desired by the husband of Queen Elizabeth II. Party more than a year ago on the Californian coast with Meghan Markle, Prince Harry returned to his land in haste.

A comeback he made solo, his wife being pregnant with their second child. Since his departure, Prince Harry has renounced his titles and patronages, but also made shattering revelations behind the scenes of life in Buckingham during an interview with Oprah Winfrey. An interview that finished sealing the break between Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William. The youngest son of Lady Diana took advantage of this interview to declare that he sees his father, Prince Charles and his brother as "prisoners" of the crown.

Two brothers not quite reconciled

During Prince Philip's funeral, held on April 17, at Windsor Castle, the two princes were reunited without really wanting to. The whole world has scrutinized the slightest gesture testifying to a potential reconciliation between Harry and William. While the queen had taken the precaution of positioning them in the procession as in the chapel of St. George to the opposites, they finally spoke a few words at the end of the ceremony. But Prince Harry does not seem determined to put water in his wine. His disagreements with the royal family have left indelible marks.

The welcome he received from his relatives during his grandfather's funeral would only have comforted him in his feelings. The prince would be so "shocked" by "the very cold reception" that he would have canceled his next trip to the United Kingdom which was scheduled for July, a royal family expert told the Daily Mail on April 26 . This was to be another opportunity for the two brothers to come together around a common event: the inauguration of the statue bearing the likeness of Lady Diana which will be installed this summer in the gardens of Kensington Palace.
