The death of Prince Philip literally shocked the United Kingdom. If the country immediately plunged into mourning, many have wondered whether the disappearance of Queen Elizabeth's 99-year-old consort would have succeeded in rekindling the members of the British royal family, "separated at home" by Harry and Meghan's flight to the United States. However, it seems that only the Duke of Sussex will be able to attend his grandfather's funeral, which should be held in a week. Meghan will stay in California and she also seems to have a good reason for doing so.
Will Meghan and Harry go to the funeral?
The Duchess of Sussex is pregnant with her second child and it seems the doctor advised her not to travel to the UK. As reported by a Buckingham Palace spokesperson quoted by the Mirror, Harry will instead be able to go to England to attend Prince Philip's funeral but will still be forced to follow anti Covid-19 protocols, including a ten-day quarantine.
