Prince William says he is "worried" for his brother Harry: "I hope he is well"
The interview that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry gave to ITV has spilled a lot of ink. The Duke of Sussex's older brother reacted to statements he made about their rocky relationship, and said he was "worried about his fragility".
Decidedly, nothing is going any more between the princes Harry and William. Diametrically opposed by the choices they make within the British royal family, the eldest does not seem to have appreciated the interview that his younger son gave to ITV with his wife Meghan Markle. In this very frank interview, Lady Diana's second son evokes with emotion the stormy ties he has with his brother William, acknowledging the tensions since the arrival of the Duchess of Sussex within the British royal family. An interview that seems not to have been well appreciated by Prince William, according to his entourage.
Indeed, according to relatives of the Duke of Cambridge interviewed by The Sun, Prince William would be "worried" for his brother, whom he considers "weakened" by the media storm that has befallen him over the past two years: " I hope he is well "would have declared the future king of England. A Kensington employee said William and Kate Middleton feared Prince Harry could no longer cope with the sudden media coverage of his couple, to the point of finding themselves "at an impasse".
A few hours after the interview was broadcast, many voices were raised across the Channel, saying that Prince William had reacted very badly to listening to the latter. The reality would be more appeased, since the oldest of the siblings would have been worried about the mental health of his youngest: "Anyone watching the video feels compassion and concern" assumed a relative of the family royal. For another source interviewed, Prince William was touched by Harry's comments, who said they "would always be there for each other" even though they "took different paths": " There is no more anger between them ".
Prince Harry's mental health concerns
For those close to Prince William, Prince Harry was overwhelmed by the media coverage of his couple with Meghan Markle, accentuated by the birth of Archie last May: "Harry is not at his best. I think that he is not well, he declares war on everyone, he cries publicly. It is not the behavior of a well-balanced man "testified a royal source. This same person surmised that Prince Harry is still too scarred by the brutal death of his mother Diana in 1997: "Harry's vision is: 'The press killed my mother, and now they are going to kill my wife'".
