Trump: In the past 25 years, Queen Elizabeth has had the most pleasure to see me
President of the United States (US) Donald Trump said his visit to the UK last week turned out to be very memorable for Queen Elizabeth. During a three-day visit last Monday (3/6/2019), Trump was personally treated by the 93-year-old monarch.
Reported by the New York Post Friday (14/6/2019) Queen Elizabeth took Tr 'around Westminster Abbey and then the two of them held dinner at Buckingham Palace. "I have a great relationship with him. When we are together, we laugh out loud and have fun," Trump told Fox & Friends.
"Then the people told me that Queen Elizabeth was not that happy before for the last 25 years," explained the 72-year-old president. The 45th president of the US continued because they were too engrossed in chatting and having fun, Trump admitted he was criticized by many people. A Buckingham Palace spokesman told CNN that the words of the Republican president were "something we do not wish to comment on". Since succeeding her father, King George VI, in February 1952, Queen Elizabeth has met almost all of the US Presidents since Harry Truman.
He rode a horse and ate spicy rellenos in California when he was entertained by President Ronald Reagan, and planted trees with President George HW Bush. Queen Elizabeth is also known to have a warm relationship with President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama where they exchanged jokes during the 2016 Invictus Games promo.
