United States: former President Donald Trump returns ... with his own website
The 45th President of the United States is back. Not yet in politics… But on the internet. He's launching a site just for him to take stock and keep in touch.
Less than three months after the end of his mandate, Donald Trump is launching his website this week: 45office.com. "Office 45", as the 45th President of the United States (you'll notice the sobriety of the title). New communication tool, not to say propaganda from an ultra-connected ex-president who was banned from Twitter and Facebook after his supporters attacked the Capitol on January 6.

This site represents the very first step in the digital reconstruction of Donald Trump, before the creation of his own social network (within "two or three months" promise his teams). With, in sight, a new campaign for the presidential election of 2024.
On this site, there are many photos of Donald and Melania, taken at public events over the past four years. Emphasis, complacency and untruths. The homepage sets the tone: the site is intended "to preserve the magnificent legacy of the Trump administration." In case you weren't aware, the former head of state "started the most extraordinary political movement in history, and beat the Washington establishment." He has also "saved countless lives" with his "strong" measures against Covid-19 - the virus has claimed more than 550,000 lives in the United States to date - after a long denial of the pandemic. Tuesday evening again, Donald Trump and all his troop disembarked without a mask at his hotel in Mar a Lago.
You will also read that the former White House boss ushered in "a period of unprecedented growth" in his country. And a whole bunch of examples. Difficult to better value the results of his four years of presidency. Obviously you will not find on this site any mention of the scandals, investigations for corruption or impeachment procedures which marked his mandate.
We can see in any case the appeals of the foot to his supporters. Donald Trump obviously wants to get back in the race for the 2024 presidential election. On the former president's website, you can already order personalized video greetings (whether for a wedding, retirement, birth or condolences). But there is also a form to request his and Melania's visit in flesh and blood, at any event. His presence is not guaranteed, but it should be specified in his request if any media will be there. If you tick "yes", you have a real chance of having a ambience agent named Trump in your home.
