The social network has removed a video interview from the profile of Lara, a Fox News contributor. A measure in line with the blockade decided last January after the assault on the Capitol

After banning Donald Trump from the social network following the riots on Capitol Hill, Facebook removed a video featuring the former US president from the social profile of the daughter-in-law Lara.

Lara Trump had posted a video interview of her with the former president on her Facebook and Instagram, aired on her program on Fox News.

This is a further move taken by the Zuckerberg giant towards the former president, after he closed his Facebook and Instagram profiles last January following the assault on Congress by his supporters. Twitter and YouTube had also taken similar measures.

"In line with the blocking we have placed on Donald Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts, additional content posted in the name of 'Donald Trump' will be removed and will result in additional restrictions on the account," an email read.

Lara, Eric Trump's wife, however, bypassed the ban and spread her interview on the Rumble video platform, linking it to her Facebook page.
