Angelina Jolie, the most beautiful woman in the world according to Vanity Fair
The actress Angelina Jolie tops the list of the most beautiful women in the world, according to a survey by Vanity Fair magazine, among which the Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen and the Spanish model in Hollywood, Penelope Cruz stand out.
The popular magazine has organized a democratic vote on its website for readers to choose among actresses, singers and models who, in their opinion, is the beauty queen.
Jolie was the outright winner with 58 percent of the vote, followed at a long distance by Bündchen, who got 9 percent, and Halle Berry, in third place, with 4 percent.
Among the billions of women in the world, only 19 have had the privilege of being part of this exclusive list in which there is a real queen, Queen Rania of Jordan, wife of King Abdullah II, who obtained three percent of the votes.
The Spanish Penelope Cruz also got three percent, as did the one who was her co-star in Woody Allen's film "Vicky Cristina Barcelona", the American Scarlett Johansson. Another hot actress, Freida Pinto, star of "Slumdog Millionaire" got 2 percent, as did actress Cate Blanchett ("The curious case of Benjamin Button") and explosive singer Beyoncé.
In what the magazine calls the list of "the modern Helen of Troy" there has been room for all races, ages and social classes. Veteran French actress Catherine Deneuve, 65, also took her place in the rankings, as her elegance, like her films, does not go unnoticed.
Supermodels Kate Moss, Elle MacPherson and Natalia Vodianova were also part of this cast of beauties, albeit with a discreet one percent.
