Brad Pitt obtains joint custody of his children denied to him by Angelina Jolie
The actress has done everything to limit the time he spends with Vivienne, Knox, Shiloh, Zahara, Pax and Maddox
This is - perhaps - the end of a court drama that has been going on for nearly five years. Brad Pitt was granted joint custody of the children he had with Angelina Jolie. A private judge, hired by the couple to rule on the case, ruled that the actor needed to spend much more time with his children. In any case, more than the time which had been granted to him until now by his ex-wife.
"This move will significantly increase the time Mr. Pitt spends with his children," a source told The Press Association, according to The Guardian.
The two stars have six children, but only five of them are affected by the decision, as the eldest, Maddox, is 19 years old and therefore of legal age.
Not finished
Still, Jolie has not given up on her fight and she plans to keep fighting to get what she wants, according to Page Six. The post, however, gives no indication of what the star is looking to achieve. "Joint custody is not the issue Angelina is opposed to, there were other concerns, but court proceedings are closed and sealed," said a source familiar with the matter.
We know in any case that the actress of The Eternals has done everything to limit the time spent by her ex-husband with their children. She would have made the judge’s decision very badly to exclude the testimony of her children, which could have influenced the case. "Judge Ouderkirk deprived Ms. Jolie of a fair trial, by wrongly excluding evidence relating to the health, safety and well-being of children, evidence essential to the presentation of her case", we can read in Angelina Jolie's appeal request, relayed by the BBC.
