Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ask for help in the United States
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex seek advice at Meghan's birthplace, where she feels much better than in London, a city to which she has not quite adjusted
In November 2017, Meghan Markle moved permanently to London. After a few months carrying her courtship between the United Kingdom and the United States, where she resided, the Duchess of Sussex settled in the British capital to live with her current husband. A few weeks after starting their new life in this city, Harry and Meghan announced their engagement.
Since then her life has completely changed. A change to which the Duchess of Sussex does not quite adapt. In these two years there have been several gestures with which she has made it clear that she misses her country and that she would love to live there.
The last has been to seek help there, both in image advice and at a legal level. The British Royal House has advisers of all kinds, but Harry and Meghan prefer to distance themselves from the family of Elizabeth II and do things in their own way. That is why they have decided to have professionals with whom Meghan especially feels much safer. In the documentary that has seen the light this week, Harry and Meghan have spoken openly about how they handle the media pressure. If the young son of Prince Charles of England and Diana of Wales has reiterated something, it is that he does not want her wife to end up as her mother because of the pressure that public opinion exerts on her. That is why he has thought that the best thing is to put land in the middle and seek advice in the place where his wife feels best.
One of his last decisions has been to withdraw from public life for just over a month. A time in which they will travel to the United States to spend Thanksgiving, meet with Meghan's mother, see the friends of the former actress ... In short, so that the Duchess of Sussex can reconnect with her origins and feel more protected and comfortable. A time in which they will take the opportunity to have several meetings with people who will advise the couple on how to improve their image and how to face criticism. They will also be very special weeks, since Meghan will be able to show hers, her son, Archie, hers, the most special places for her.
