Meghan Markle left deeply 'disturbed' by Prince Andrew's claims in Jeffrey Epstein scandal

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip's third child, Prince Andrew, was stripped off his royal duties a few days ago for his involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal.

Meghan Markle, who has championed feminist causes way before she entered the royal household, has been left deeply disturbed by husband Prince Harry's uncle Prince Andrew's comments in a BBC interview. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip's third child, Prince Andrew, was stripped off his royal duties a few days ago for his involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal. Now, as per reports, parts of Andrew's statements from his BBC interview has left Meghan horrified.

According to sources in The Telegraph, Meghan was disturbed because of the manner in which the 59-year-old duke denied having sex with Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged teenage victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre. He has been accused of having sex with Giuffre when she was just 17-years-old in 2001.

The source added, that the Duchess felt "uncomfortable" when Prince Andrew said he would remember sleeping with the then-17-year-old girl because sex, for a guy, is a “positive act,” according to the publication.

During his BBC interview, Andrew was quizzed if he had ever engaged in sex with Giuffre or “any young woman trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein.” The Duke responded by saying, "No, and without putting too fine a point on it, if you’re a man it is a positive act to have sex with somebody. You have to take some sort of positive action and so therefore if you try to forget it’s very difficult to try and forget a positive action and I do not remember anything.” A picture of Andrew and Giuffre speaks otherwise which shows the Prince holding her by the waist back in the day.

Since the scandal surfaced, Queen Elizabeth took a decision along with future king Prince Charles and has sacked her son from all royal duties.
