The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's bombshell interview aired in early March and saw the couple make a number of inflammatory allegations about the royal family. The couple accused an anonymous royal of racism, said their son Archie was denied a title of prince and claimed the company did not help Meghan when she felt suicidal. Her comment came after Meghan told Oprah that questions were reportedly asked about their child's skin color.
The Duchess said: “During those months that I was pregnant, we had conversations in tandem that he was not receiving any security or title, and we were also concerned about the color of his skin when he was born. .
“They didn't want him to be a prince or a princess, not knowing what the gender would be, which would be different from protocol, and that he was not going to be given security.
Meghan told Oprah the conversation took place between a member of the Royal Family and Harry.
She said: "This was reported to me by Harry, these are conversations the family had with him, and I think it was really hard to be able to see them as compartmentalized conversations."
The Duchess did not disclose who made the comment and said: "I think it would be very damaging to them."
