"Now more than ever there is an urgent need to replace the shame surrounding mental health with knowledge, understanding and honesty." With these words, Oprah Winfrey launches the new production signed with Prince Harry, focused precisely on researching and safeguarding emotional well-being: the docuseries, entitled "The Me You Cant’ See ", will be available on Apple TV + starting May 21.

"We will tell stories trying to lift the veil over the topic, with the hope of sparking a global conversation", adds the American presenter, 67, a longtime friend of Meghan Markle and today even a neighbor of the Sussexes: "Harry and I we have been working on this product for about two years, ”he revealed on the Drew Barrymore Show, hinting that the pandemic has postponed the airing.

According to the launch image shared by Apple and the information reported by the US newspapers, "The Me You Can't See" will open the door to big stars, both from the world of entertainment and sport: spotlight focused primarily on Lady Gaga Glenn Close, then space for basketball stars DeMar DeRozan and Langston Galloway, boxer Virginia "Ginny" Fuchs, celebrity chef Rashad Armstead and many others.

"People are born and raised in different contexts and, as a result, are exposed to different experiences," said Harry, who is preparing to make his TV debut. "But we all share the experience of being human, so we carry some form of trauma, loss or unresolved pain within us. Although these are all personal factors, the series will demonstrate that the strength lies in the connection, in the empathy ".

Harry and Oprah - Apple is keen to point out - have worked with the help of 14 professionals in the sector: to address mental health issues in the best possible way.
