If he loses the election, Trump is afraid of going to jail

Olivia Troye, the resigning adviser to Vice President Mike Pence, who switches to the Republican opposition, confirms that Trump has only one obsession right now: being reelected. Why is billionaire Trump so keen to stay in power, regardless of the presidential outcome? The obsessive narcissism of this "very stable genius" has something to do with it. But it's mostly, I think, the fear of going to jail.

Trump, a habitual criminal?

About 20 investigations are underway against him and members of his family. Trump faces investigations into nearly every recent organization he has led. He is the subject of criminal or civil investigations by nine federal, state and local agencies into his businesses, dissolved foundation, election campaign and 2016 inaugural committee, as well as his personal finances.

Trump's inaugural committee in 2016 faces five inquiries in New York, New Jersey and Washington. In particular, it is suspected that foreign donors illegally contributed.

New York State is investigating whether undocumented foreigners were working at its golf clubs. In New Jersey, they want to find out if foreigners have obtained fraudulent documents from the "Trump's Bedminster, New Jersey, Resort" so that they can work there.

And it continues. The New York Times reported on Monday that Trump and his companies could be investigated for tax evasion and insurance fraud, according to documents filed in a New York court. Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr said last month he was investigating "prolonged criminal conduct by the Trump organization."

Trump and gender: whatever the law

Former Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen was found guilty of buying the silence of two women who threatened to reveal their sexual relations with Trump. Cohen, who has been found guilty of violating the presidential campaign finance law, said he was acting under the leadership of Trump himself.

To date, 26 women blame Trump for sexual misconduct. Among them, Summer Zervos, a competitor on her show The Apprentice. She claims that in an aggressive and non-consensual fashion, Trump kissed her full on the mouth, felt her breasts and genitals.

On November 4, 2019, author E. Jean Carroll sued Trump for calling her a liar, claiming it damaged her career and reputation. She accused him of raping her in a fitting room. Attorney General Bill Barr, a slave to Trump, authorized the Justice Department to file a petition to take charge of his defense: he allegedly acted "within" the presidency by calling Carroll a liar. Trump may, in this case, be required to provide a DNA sample to compare to genetic material found on clothing Carroll was wearing during the alleged sexual assault.
