Losing a pet can be as painful as losing a loved one. The Biden family had the sad experience following the death of one of their dogs, Champ, Joe Biden announced on Saturday (June 19th). Through a Twitter post, the US president paid his last respects to his four-legged companion. "Wherever we were, he wanted to be there, and everything was instantly better when he was by our side," Joe Bien said on the social network.
Champ, a German Shepherd, had been part of the Biden family for almost 13 years and shared many moments with them. In his text, Joe Biden spoke about the touching habits he had with his dog. "In our happiest moments as in our most painful days, he was there with us, sensitive to our slightest unexpressed feelings and emotions," added Donald Trump's successor.
